Acceptable Use Policy

Effective date: September 16, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy applies to all Project Cafecito websites, applications, APIs, MCP services, developer tools, publications, and related services. It is incorporated into the Terms of Service.

You may not use a Service, directly or indirectly, to do any of the following.

Violate law or another person’s rights

  • violate applicable law, regulation, court order, sanctions, or export controls;
  • infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, database, contractual, or other rights;
  • defame, harass, threaten, stalk, dox, exploit, or endanger a person;
  • collect, infer, publish, or use sensitive or personal information unlawfully;
  • fabricate quotations, sources, evidence, or endorsements; or
  • remove or falsify attribution, canonical links, authorship, notices, or source information.

Access systems or information without authority

  • access non-public systems or material without authorization;
  • bypass authentication, access restrictions, technical controls, or source restrictions;
  • use stolen, shared, fabricated, or unauthorized credentials, cookies, tokens, or session data; or
  • request or combine output to reconstruct information Cafecito or a source has restricted.

Misuse third-party content

Unless a written agreement expressly permits the use, you may not publicly display or redistribute complete third-party works; build a substitute source site, archive, bulk dataset, or competing content database; resell, sublicense, or syndicate Third-Party Content; use it for model training, fine-tuning, dataset creation, or permanent RAG storage; remove required attribution; or continue using material after an applicable restriction, withdrawal, or deletion instruction.

Conduct harmful profiling or high-impact decisions

You may not use the Services as a consumer reporting agency or use Service output as the sole or determinative basis for decisions about employment, housing, credit, insurance, education, health care, public benefits, legal services, or another high-impact domain.

You may not use the Services for unlawful surveillance, biometric identification, location tracking, sensitive-trait inference, or profiling of children or vulnerable people.

Spread deception or unsafe content

Do not present allegations as established facts, knowingly distribute materially false or misleading content, use automated output without appropriate verification where an error could materially harm a person, represent Cafecito output as verified professional advice, or use the Services for malware, credential theft, phishing, spam, fraud, or other abusive activity.

Attack or overload the Services

Do not probe vulnerabilities without written authorization, disrupt or overload Services, evade limits, conceal the source of abusive traffic, create accounts to evade suspension, or publish API keys.

Your operational duties

Protect credentials, preserve available source links and attribution, independently evaluate consequential output, and promptly act on correction, restriction, or deletion instructions. Use the contact page before proceeding when permitted use is unclear.

Enforcement and reporting

Cafecito may investigate suspected violations, limit or block requests, restrict output, suspend or terminate accounts, preserve relevant records, and cooperate with lawful investigations. We may act immediately when needed to address legal, security, rights, or safety risk.

Use the contact page and include the subject Abuse Report. Do not include credentials or unnecessary sensitive information.
